Mission and Vision
Fighting for Something Bigger
"It’s not just about the sport — it’s about the space we create through it."
At NHCCC, combat sports are our medium — but empowerment, connection, and healing are our message. Our mission and vision reflect why we exist and what we’re fighting for: a community where youth and families feel safe, supported, and strong — in body, mind, and spirit. This is our foundation, and the future we’re building with every class, every coach, and every connection.

Mission
The mission of North Hastings Community Combat Club (NHCCC) is to provide accessible, trauma-informed combat sport programming for at-risk youth and under-resourced families in the Bancroft region. Through disciplines such as boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, and jiu-jitsu, we aim to foster emotional regulation, self-discipline, resilience, and positive community connection—contributing to long-term mental, emotional, and social well-being.
Vision
We envision a future where every young person and their family — regardless of background or circumstance — has access to safe, empowering spaces that support physical, emotional, and social well-being. Through the transformative power of combat sports, NHCCC strives to build a stronger, more connected community where youth and families grow together in confidence, resilience, and belonging.
