How We Work

NHCCC removes financial barriers by covering the cost of training through grants, donations, and community sponsorships.

Classes are led by experienced coaches in a safe, trauma-informed environment that supports mental health, emotional regulation, and personal growth.

Our mission is simple: use sport as a tool to build resilience, confidence, and connection.

01

Youth Resilience Program

A structured combat sport training series (boxing, kickboxing, etc.) for youth aged 6–18 focused on building emotional regulation, discipline, and self-esteem. Includes mentorship, trauma-informed coaching, and confidence-building activities.

Goal: Reduce high-risk behaviors and improve mental health outcomes through sport-based intervention.

02

Family Sponsorship Program

A community-supported initiative offering free unlimited access to NHCCC training for families facing financial hardship. Promotes family bonding, healthier lifestyle habits, and opportunities for parents and children to grow stronger together — physically and emotionally.

Goal: Strengthen families, increase access to programming, and foster safe, shared experiences.

03

Community Impact Events

Monthly or seasonal events such as free self-defense workshops, mental wellness seminars, or youth boxing exhibitions. Designed to promote community connection, awareness, and empowerment through accessible programming and open invitations.

Goal: Engage the wider community, increase visibility, and create safe spaces for learning and connection.

04

Peer Leadership & Mentorship Program

A youth development initiative where older or more experienced participants receive mentorship training to become positive role models for younger members. This builds leadership skills, accountability, and confidence — while reinforcing a culture of support, inclusion, and community care within the gym.

Goal: Foster long-term personal growth, responsibility, and peer-to-peer empowerment — turning participants into leaders and mentors.
